Site

narilunder.al

A restaurant, a guest house, a working farm with its own dairy and vineyards, a hall for weddings and a kitchen that cooks for Tirana’s schools, all on one hill five kilometres from the city. The site had to carry every one of them, in English and Albanian, and still read as one place.

Eight English pages of the site at full length, side by side

The restaurant

Fire, the wood oven, the dairy and the vines each get a band, and the menu is the whole book: every course behind its own tab, dish left, price right.

The guest house

Every room type has its own page with its measurements, a photo mosaic, the house rules and an enquiry form that already knows which room you were looking at.

Three phones: the room list, a room page and its enquiry form

The farm and the dairy

Goats, cheese, vines and olives, with a calendar of what the land gives each month. The current month marks itself.

Events

Halls, buffet and courtyard for celebrations of up to 500, and a form that asks the two questions that matter: how many, and when.

School catering

The same kitchen, cooking each morning for schools and nurseries, with the answers a head teacher looks for first.

The events page: the halls, the buffet and what you need to know
The school catering page: the cooking and how it works

The archive

A filterable photo archive with a lightbox, a farm diary written week by week, and thirty years of one family on the same hill.

Finding your way

A glass header that frosts as you scroll, a room submenu on the desk, a full-screen sheet on the phone, and a footer that answers what people scroll down for: the hours, the rooms, the reviews.

Every screen

The menu, the rooms and the calendar read as well in one hand as on a desk.

The mark, redrawn

The tower reached us as a flattened image. We traced it back to clean vectors, measured the result against the original and respaced the lockup, so it holds from a favicon to the side of a van.

Paper, ink, vine

A short palette and one rule, kept in a single file the whole site reads, so a change lands on every page at once.

Type that speaks Albanian

Nib Pro, Instrument Sans and DM Mono, each checked for ë and ç before a word was set, and all three served from the estate’s own server.

What the hill gives

Restaurant, guest house, farm, events and school catering now sit on one tree with one voice. The kitchen still cooks what the land grows, and the site finally says so plainly.
